Mridanga Lessons Part 1
The Mridanga lessons available here are from two sources. The first is the lessons originally released on DVD in 2006. The second is a collection of split screen videos of many fundamental mantras designed to be a follow-up to the DVD. Everything posted here can be considered essential knowledge and competency is required before progressing to the next stages of training and playing. Videos can be downloaded by their accompanying links. Any questions or comments can be sent through the contact page.

Practice Mantra
In order to play mridanga we must first practice various basic techniques which form the building blocks of playing. These are first four practice mantras:
1. te re ke ta
2. te re ke te tak
3. te re ke te ke te te re
4. te re ke te da
